Xeriscape Garden in Paradise Valley opens December 9

Opening for xeriscape Garden in Paradise Valley will take place on December 9 at 9 am.

The Park is intended to educate residents about the benefits of water conservation, natural desert landscape and the use of low-water plants, said Jake Lenderking, Manager of the Arizona American water resources water co.

He said the plants that use little water just beautiful as the people who use lots of water and less expensive to keep hydrated.

People can use up to 70 percent less water by turning them out of the original landscape or using low-water plants, he said.

“Ultimately, the goal is to save water and to select the use low water plants instead of using a high-water plants,” he said.
